Word gets around

★★★★★
“Bob was there in 30 minutes with truck, ready to do the job. Fast and professional. Others will take days and cost 2 times as much. Call A&J first.”
Mark S., septic clean out
A&J took the time to explain our catch basin and drain system. They rodded out our drain lines and supplied a video showing them crystal clear.
Bryan F., homeowner
Providing sewer jetting and cleaning annually for the university for many years now. Flexibility, reliability, professionalism and quality service at a fair price.

Questions we get every week

What is your response time?

In most cases it's a couple of hours or the same day.

How often do I need to pump my septic tank?

On average every 2 to 4 years. It depends on the size of your tank, how many people live in the house, and the habits of the household.

Are there signs my septic system is having problems?

Watch for a sewer gas smell, toilets flushing slowly or gurgling, other drains running slow, waste on top of your tank, or standing water around your system or drainage fields.

What are the signs my sewer may start to back up?

Gurgling sounds in the toilet, slow-draining sinks, tubs, or floor drains, and sometimes a sewer gas smell. Also look out for puddles around floor drains.

Do you offer a senior discount?

Yes. Seniors get 10 percent off service.

Do you handle both residential and commercial work?

Yes. Homes, restaurants, municipalities, and industrial facilities across Chicagoland.
